Laura Fitzpatrick is a highly qualified practising teacher of Art and Design, as well as a dedicated painter. Graduating Glasgow School of Art's Painting and Printmaking course in 2013, she has since taught in some of Scotland's most forward-thinking schools, while  maintaining her rigorous art practice. "I am a teacher who puts the student first and foremost. Progress is key, whether that means changing the beliefs of a student adamant that they can't draw, or encouraging a talented artist to stretch themselves that bit further. Art is for every one of us, and it is a privilege to support and nurture students at any stage of their creative journey".
